Experience: Rex has been in the financial services industry for 26 years, having started with Merrill Lynch in 1977. His client base was more than $57 million in assets until 1987. In May 1987 he was named the branch manager of the Upland office, where he was responsible for 12 financial consultants, six administrative assistants and $310 million in assets. He remained in management until 1989, at which time he moved to the San Bernardino Merrill Lynch office, where he remained until his voluntary resignation in 1992 to form his own company.
